SERVICES
Pre-press Graphics
We are at your service!
Our in house MAC and PC based graphic specialist will help you develop a package that will have that "WOW" factor. We will guide you through our process(s) to ensure optimum print quality while respecting your timelines to market. We will work closely with the graphic trade shop of your choice to make necessary adjustments to your design to ensure all potential print quality concerns are understood and addressed at the initial design stages. Our goal is to make the pre-press process as 'seamless' as possible!
Here are some tips...
* If you supply specifications we can assist in developing your 'die strikes' or 'die lines' (dimensional drawings).
* Send us a PDF of the design as early in the process as possible. This gives us an opportunity to offer suggestions and recommendations which can be built into the file at the earliest stages. This will both ensure the design moves swiftly as well as not incurring unnecessary cost.
*If possible we would prefer the disc to be in 'Illustrator 10 or C.S' format with 'live text' so we can manipulate it if there are any changes.
*When transporting (or storing) film and plates between suppliers, care should be taken to pack them in a sturdy container, put protective sheets between plates and keep them from exposure to direct sunlight.
*A 'plate release' form must accompany the film/plate package. Upon receipt we will compare the number of items on the plate release form to the package contents and inspect their quality/usability. If any of the contents are unusable or there are discrepancies in the count we will communicate this back to our customer.
